Week Passed By

What a week this has been...I was down with running nose and sore throat for the first two days of the week...
MC was givenn.. rested at home.. watched from Disney channel to HBO to Star Movies to Central to Hallmark... Wednesday back to work... Still not feeling that good....but at least work wise was ok.. Just that feeling bit of PMS.. what a thing to happen... Was actually looking forward for my shopping spree AGAIN.. tomorrow...

Shopping spree to look for white shoes and green shoes as my green flat sandals are GONE CASE!!!! Aiyarr....
Went to Sakura to have our dinner.. Around 1915hours, shopping starts!!!!! Weelll.. I got all the things I wanted... Was very very happy with myself... Surprisingly, Im recovered from sore throat and running nose!!
HAHAHAHHAHA.. Thats the power of shopping!!!! By 2130hours, done with our shopping.. went to Coffee Bean-Borders .. Tried the Berry d' Treasure and Opera Cake.. The drink is NICE!!!! .. Cake? Its not chocolatey.. its just right.. not muak lah...The cake looks cute...

Weell..here are my things....bought 3pairs of shoes this time.. but all I LOUVVEEEE IIITT....

Plans Go Awry

Nah.. I dont think so.. its just that word 'shopping' and me cannot be separated !!!
Went to buy my makeup products and was with my galfriend... My only plans for the day were to watch the closing celebrations of Singapore Arts Festival at Choa Chu Kang and Esplanade-Outdoor Theatre...
But when my galfriend mentioned MANGO....goodbye arts festival....See you next year then..
It was tiring day.. oh my..Robinsons was PACKED with ladies looking for shoes... Its even worst then Metro Paragon.. Even the aunty dont give chance at you... but, me, I just sat down.. the shoes that I liked are expensive.. so too badd.....
MANGO was worst then Robinsons... but what the heck!!! its a good bargain... Bargain not to be missed!!!! Saw this gal trying on crop jacket.. Out of my mouth "Hey, I liked that. Where you get it" She showed me the area.. (zzzzzooooommmm)
But when I tried it on, it looks ok....not so WOW!!!But finally.. finally I got something ...its a long tunic.. green color.. soo LOVED it...

Although I did not go for the closing celebrations, I did have bit of entertainment.. there was a gig.. well .. you could call it this.. the bands are not great..only 1band is ok...
For me, the night ends, talking to an old chinese aunty... who cannot see clearly...she rushed for the wrong feeder bus.. poor her..when she realised it, she sat next to me.. and started talking.. At first, she talked in chinese but sensed no response from me, she switched to malay.... she worked at Lorong Ah Soo...stayed near my block... Talking to her makes me wonder... how will my growing old days be????

SHOPPING !!!!

Went for shopping spree with my galfriend!!!!
The day was shiok for us... we really really went all out to get the gifts. But obviously, before we got those, I DID MY SHOPPING SPREE !!!!!!

BK Far East met for breakfast... obviously wanna enjoy our break from work...Ate the enormeous omelete sandwich, which was pretty huge...Happily enjoyed our breakfast... taking our time because we somehow think that shops will open at 1100hrs...

started our shopping ... most of the shops are not opened ... and few just opened.. they are still sweeping the floor.. bought myself a bronze flat shoe... SOOO HHAAPPPYYY....

some were taking out the merchandise and arranging it...and having their breakfast !!!!
yah...thats right..one of the shops we went to, the gal was eating.. but we just browsed around the shop... They have these shiny, glamorous slippers, heels shoes. Tried one of those shiny slippers, oh my god!!! it is so DAMN heavy!!!!! After 1/2hrs, I got myself a skirt, bracelet, ring and earrings.. :)

It only cost me $45.60...the gal was good.. she did not follow us around....This is the first time I went in the shop.. from afar, the shop looks glamorous and expensive.. But just, to kill time as waiting for our destination shop to open, we went in.....
Walked around other shops...saw this mannequin wearing a turqouise color top.. BEAUTIFUL.. went in.. and looked for it.. then saw this striking color dress.. took it.. and the gal said its $20 !!! So.. into the dressing room I went.. tried it.. LOVE IT!!!

then saw this long sleeve top.. very nice..kinda retro.. tried it.. and we already knew this is one of the choices for the gifts...Bought the dress and brown top instead...Went next door, looked for green or white shoes.. Saw it but decided to walk around... Okie the intended shop still not opened.. its already 1230pm.. soooooo ...Wihardja .. HERE WE COME....
Wihardja - looking for the day bed or 4-day poster bed.. okie the cheaper ones around $300+...bought wrapping paper there!!! Can you imagine of all places, bought it from Wihardja...

Need to find short sleeve shirt or tshirt for another gift. Walked around .. some are so expensive... finally we saw this good bargain shirt.. try on disney character watches..hmmm soo EX....bought short sleeve shirt and puma tshirt...
Wisma Atria - looking for the long sleeve top and long till cover your butt... difficult!!! The ones we liked are sooo EX...we have good taste man!!!!
Takashimaya and Metro Paragon - no luck either... Decided to go back to Far East... 1st shop went to the intended one.. OPENED!!! what a relief but our happines was shortlived... they only come in LARGE SIZESSS.... in the end, my galfriend bought 1top... and me?? a flower brooch!!!! HAHAHAHHA...

We bought the retro top!!! YAHHOOO.. its sooo nice... Our mission is complete!!!! HEY !!! wait....I need to get the colorful shoes which I saw earlier.. so stopped by!!! The saleguy ws happy that I came back :)

Ayam penyet at Lucky Plaza.. our dinner!!!!! can you imagine.. we did not have any lunch...oopps... forgot.. we did share a choc B&W brownie .. its a small piece...We ordered the ayam penyet and happy soda... HHMMM.. Delicious...
Next.. Plaza Singapura.. for our CARS!!!! Bought tickets for 1840hrs... then looked for dvd Take The Lead.. too bad its not out yet.. Cars was funny.. nice scenery ... colorful.. ssiigghhh..... ended at nearly 2100hrs...

TCC...had our drinks and relax ourselves.. we deserved it.. we had a long day .....but its all fruitful...
I ordered Ayuki(somehow this name is incorrect but i cannot remembered it) Coffee and Bread pudding.. YUMMYYY... Its sooo delicious....Went off at 2230hrs...

All my shoppings .... SOO LOVED IT!!!!

Yesterday night was the first time I watched world cup without any interupptions / no concentrations... hehehehehee but I only watched the second half .. what to do..before that there was CSI..

Every tuesday, its a must to watch CSI... After that, followed by any other tv series...
But since now have world cup and the match started at 2200hrs.. I decided to watch it...
Klose is soo CUTTTEE!!!! The coach is not bad looking for an elder guy.. hhmmmm....
Ecuador would have scored when they got the free kick..but too bad.. the kick was soo high.. Pardon me guys.. I dont really know the soccer jargon of words.. :)

Ok..have read the news. England is not meeting Germany.. Michael Owen is badly injured.. Poor him.. I prefer him to David Beckham.....But so far, I have not watched Nistlerooy played!!!! ARRRGGHHH....Have to see the schedule now.. Im also waiting to know who will be in the finals....

Mondayy

Ok.. I'm back at work... Backache is ok.. I wont give myself the green light yet.. I need to really really sure that I'm BACCKK in FULL FORCE!!!!!
Whatever I do now, will be trying to walk at a slow pace.. (which Im really trying very hard at it)Lifting up things, I need to squat down, dont bend my body.. which I did this when I first got my backache 5yrs back...

Sigghhhhh.. just when I thought of cleaning up my room.. Nah..my room not that messy.. All things are neatly arranged in their respective places.. Its just that there are dust and Im bored with the arrangements.. :)
Friends cannot take it when I said that.. To them, they will only clean the palce when its really doesnt look like a room...

Now, I have a mission... TASKS to be done.
1) take measurement for my windows, wardrobe, bed, my room door, living room door and lift
2) scout around / get a new bed .. (sofabed has been with me for 11yrs !!!)
3) scout around/ calling / looking through papers for custom made wardrobe
4) make my own photo albums..
5) need to develop photos
6) scout around for curtains material
7) need to go DIY shop

Hmm.. I think this is all that I need to get done....
So.. this week, will be my starting point!!

Woke up feeling sleepy!!!!
Set my handphone alarm for another 15mins.. obviously I am sooooo tiredd.....
I cannot sleep due to drinking mocha yesterday nite around 2115hrs.... I kept on trying that mocha and latte will not have any effect on me.. but Im proven wrong.. TEEEETTTTT....

Morning sky was like bit of red...in my mind, "oh i think its going to rain"
Dilly dally getting ready for work.. kept changing my pants..... undecisive morning...I nearly forgot to bring umbrella.. quickly grabbed one and went off....
Took the express bus.. ahhh..there is no TV MOBILE.. lucky thing(its as if i can see into the future) I brought my earphones... listened to radio and sketching my custom made wardrobe... suddenly.. RAIN!!!!!

Reached my destination, still raining.. quickly take out my umbrella... and walked happily.. LA LA LA LA LA... As I was crossing the road, I saw this angmoh guy.. he was pressing the traffic light button frantically, while trying to shelter himself from the bushes.. yah right.. bushes not TREEESS...Dont know what going on in my mind, I just hold the umbrella on top of his head.. He turned, SURPRISED and gave a soft laugh.. I just smiled... This traffic light.. is soooo ssslllllooowwww...like a snail gliding...I was already feeling bad.. because I offered shelter and didnt say anything...So..I removed my earphones and told him that there is an underpass that he can used... He heard me wrongly..
His reply - Oh I came from England or was it London?? (guess I was mesmerized by his cute face)
I said it again..
He - OHHhh.. well I dont have umbrella.. I just packed a small bag to come here..I stayed over there..(pointing to the houses on the left)
Me - where are you working?
He - Raffles Place.. and you?
Me - (pointing to my office building) there...
He - what you working as?
Me - oh admin with a little bit of security
He - ooohhooo....so I have to stay away from you...
Both of us gave a HEARTY laugh

He - Its been only two weeks...
Me - so how you find singapore?
He - its good.. but its been raining.
Me - its not supposed to be raining season

Day Ends Well

Morning was not a good one for me.. but it ends well.. after all..
NO... I still have not received any calls from SMRT regarding my lost ez-link card...
I am happy because... our so long plan to gather for makan, finally came TRUE!!!

We planned to have dinner with our ex-colleagues...to chat up with each other...
Our destination??
Secret Recipes at Marina Square.. that's my idea... :)
Well.. I asked my colleague whether later confirmed, she said yes.. I was happy as was thinking of all those cheesecakes that I want to eat.. keekkeke...being a glutton (at certain times lah)

Meet up with one gal at City Hall Mrt station.. we proceeded to walk through the citylink...they dont know the way!!! Aiyar....they just walked..didnt see the signs that you have to go right after the Loccitane shop... Passed that 'obstacle', another one - they dont know the way around Marina Square.. I admit, the place has changed.. VERI WELL done.. Bright... Spacious.. Lots of shops.. Lots of restaurants...So.. being the familiar ME... I lead the way!!!!
CHEDEBAH!!!!

My friend has actually booked our seats.. we came, coincidentally same timing with another friend...BUT he didnt notice us neither he hear us calling out his name...When after awhile, he saw us.. and... EXCITED was he... He hug each one of us... We settled down, looked through the menu and deciding what to eat....I ordered TOM YAM KUNG SEAFOOD..
yuuummmyyy... such a big bowl.. got two big prawns!!!

There was so much fun and laughter...Saw pics that my guy friend went to Nepal last december..chit chat till 9pm.. saw that Secret Recipe has promotions 1 for 1 cake, take away only.. soooo I went in queue.. bought these!!! hhmmm...heavennnn......

i lost my card!!! what a starting day it is....
i have just top up .. value left before its LOST was $39.15 !!!!!! :(
oh my oh my.. there goes my $$$...
went over to the bus office to report it...the officer face like soo sian or tired or cant be bothered...
i told him i just alighted and from this area, my card gone. He asked for the bus number? I said dont know. He checked his monitor screen and called the bus driver (i think)
moments later, this chinese guy came over, with a blur face or should i say SCARED face????...Dont know what they were talking, only I knew that I had to follow that chinese guy to the bus.
OKKK.. so I follow.. in my HIGH HEELS.. walking through the interchange and where there are uneven roads... The bus driver asked "You took my bus? I dont remember you. You sure?
I already angry I lost that card.. now he asked this question.
"You dont remember the bus number?" My patience has reached the highest level that I could endure.. straight away " I dont know the bus number. I dont remember if you ARE the driver. I told that guy, I came from ....." He get the outburst and keep quiet..Few seconds later,"I see it, i will give you back". I looked at him and said "how you know that I dropped it????" DUUHHHHH......
Checked the bus, none.. zilch!!!
Oh my god!!!! its already 0725hrs..
Went back to the office...told the fat guy "you given me wrong driver!"
There was another young guy inside, the fat guy told him in chinese to handle me.
So, this guy.. follow diligently.. and asked me .. THE SAME QUESTIONS again...
I told him but in a very PISSED voice. Onlookers were already wondering what is going on...Left my contant number and name.. and I left..
I cant stand in that office any longer..

what a holiday i had!!!! yiippee!!!!!
though the weather over at Bintan was raining..practically everyday while i were there...

on friday, it rained heavily!!!! i was like "ohh ok.. at least now it rained hope next three days its okie..." but nah!!! my ship was delayed.. due to immigration papers ..blah blah blah.. (dont understand what the captain is saying :)
by the time, reached Bandar Bentan Terminal, weather was cloudy... there were many people !!!! oh gosh.. lucky thing they opened another immigration counter and i didnt have to wait for long.....know what.. i was soo busy putting big luggage on the scan that i forgot about my small bag!!! HAHAHHAHA.. kena call by the security.. Sorry officer!!!!
reached villa... aahhh..... HUNGRY!!!! cant wait to eat...watched Miss Congeniality.. that was a funny movie.. Sandra Bullock is CUTE!!!! went karaoke..obviously Bintan and karaoke cannot be separated!!!! sang my favorite songs!!! Dancing Queen...I cant miss a thing..

KIDS in...secured a place and went 'debush'!!!water so shiookk....hungrryy.. went up..ate pasta .. rest... chitchatting.. then went back to waters...and guess what??? it RAINED!!!! heavily!!!oh whyy.. please stopp... we gonna have BBQ at night!!!!it rained when we want to start the fire...YAHHOOO..bbq stuffs have been defrost... took out dessert as well... bully one guy to do bbqing... (such word exist?) so full!!! delicous food...rained again....

it rained early morning!!! weather is ok, have bit of light..ate breakfast.. went to the beach.. high tide!!! 'debush' just keep swimming just keep swimming...rest... sky turning grey.. and dark...better go back.. and guess what??it rained heavily again!!!!!it was freezing riding on the buggy!!!!! reached villa.. feeling cold.. and hungry.. again...sooo ate whatever there is..made hot tea... ate uneaten bbq food..
at night, weather is ok.. watched Xmen 2.. then went to play games... had so much fun playing table tennis.. although we used three tables !!!! HAHAHHA....but that was such a workout.. we played for only 10mins and we really perspire, man!!!! went watched live band.. they sang all my favorite songs!!! saw cute angmoh guy.. seated in front of us.. :)...there was this indonesian gal who "trying" to get the cute angmoh guy's attention.. TOO BAD gal..you didnt succeed!!!!

Weather is GOOD!!! eat whatever food for breakfast.. went to the pool instead.. GOSH!!! water is FRREEZZZIINNNGGG....but we still went!!!saw the baby elephant again.. who forever is eating...took pictures of it....time to pack.. time to go back to reality..cute angmoh guy is going back same timing!!! WAHHH.. HHAAAPPPIINNEESSS...the ship was jammed packed!!!! there were lots of families with kids.. particular this african family caught my eye...the little girl is mighty active.. compared to the elder brothers.. the mom said "she cannot sit still.. (whispers) she wants to be like one of the boys" ...so difficult to get seats...in the end, i sat next to a couple- angmoh and chinese gal....
the water is so CHHOPPPYYY.... then reaching Tanah Merah Ferry terminal, we had to wait about 5minutes.. due to over many ships on dock...aiyar!!!! lucky thing i can take it man.. if not, think i will WHUACCKKKK!!!

Today Is The Last Day

of work..for me!!!
Nah.. Im not resigning...
Its just that its the last day of work for the week !!!!

Tomorrow Im on leave!!!! Tomorrow till monday, I'll be basking in the sun, sand and SEA!!!!!! Will be having BBQ ... oh my gosh!!! Cannot help thinking of the delicious food...Cheese sausage!! yuummyy...

Actually, only last week I had BBQ..but that was at Downtown East..It was obviously FUN!!!! I only did bbq once.. do the cheese sausage.. other than that, GUYS please do the honor!!!!HAHAHAHAHA..they cannot bully me...
But in the midst of it, I got to know that my friend, a couple has broken up!!!!
I felt so sad... actually this 2006, will be their fifth anniversary!!!...
Last year we had planned already what party to have...
Well.. we can only plan.. but GOD has more plans for us... :)

I love SHOPPING.. I love watching PERFORMANCES...I love going for MOVIES....
all of these, I go alone if there are no one to follow..... what to do.. you cannot expect more from others... the only person you can have MUCH EXPECTATION is YOURSELF....
